Six firms shortlisted for Forsyth County Central Library design

A selection committee has shortlisted six firms for the designing of the Forsyth County Central Library renovation project, reports Winston-Salem Journal.

The request for qualifications was issued in October and a total of 19 firms submitted proposals.

Six firms, including Clark Nexsen, The Freelon Group, HolzheimerBolek and Meehan Architects, RATIO Architects, West & Stem Architects, and the team of Walter Robbs Callahan & Pierce Architects and CJMW Architecture were invited to give presentations to the committee, according to Damon Sanders-Pratt, deputy county manager for Forsyth County.

The final selection is expected to be made by the end of January.The firm will be selected based on its qualifications, not on a proposed design.
