David Allen Co. on Jan. 17 said it has awarded a $5,000 scholarship to a gifted and promising architectural student at the North Carolina State University College of Architecture for the past 17 years.
In a statement, the company said that Mike Norton, director of contract procurement, presented the 2013 award to Joseph Burkett and EstridgeHatley, who have been identified by the Design School faculty as promising leaders in architecture.
The Dean of the college makes the selection to either a graduate or an undergraduate student.
