Parks Hospitality Group plans to build a new six story hotel at 555 Crossroads Blvd., a 2.6 acre site overlooking Interstate 40.
Cary Town Council has approved a rezoning and site plan request to build what will become a 108-room Homewood Suites By Hilton.
Construction is expected to start in spring 2016 with the hotel opening projected in summer 2017, the Triangle Business Journal reports.
Parks Hospitality also owns six other hotel properties in North Carolina, including the Hilton Garden Inn Raleigh-Cary and the Doubletree by Hilton Raleigh-Cary.
