NC ranked 4th in list of top states for business

CNBC has ranked North Carolina fourth on its list of America’s top states for business, reports the Charlotte Observer. The state ranked 3rd on the list last year.

The Tar Heel state ranked highest in infrastructure and technology, workforce, technology and innovation and business friendliness. The state’s ranked lower in the health of its overall economy and its quality of life.

Texas ranked 1st followed by Utah and Virginia in this year’s list. See all rankings here.

The rankings are based on 10 categories where states are evaluated based on publicly available data and information. Other categories include the cost of doing business, education, access to capital and cost of living. Read More.
