Gastonia, NC will be the home to a new 10,000-square-foot, three-storey self storage facility.
The building will be located on the northeast corner of Gaston Day School and Hoffman Road near other businesses. ISS says the $8.83 million project will be built by Griffco Design/Build Inc. of Kennesaw, Ga.
The 19-acre piece of land was bought in 2002 by Pearson Properties with the initial intention of developing office space and a grocery store, but the property wasn’t large enough for those projects.
The Gastonia Planning Commission approved a zoning change last year to allow for the self-storage facility which is expected to open next year.
