32-story office tower coming to downtown Raleigh

Preferred Office Properties is seeking approval to build an office tower in downtown Raleigh.

The company filed site plans earlier this month for the project dubbed 121 Fayetteville, reports Triangle Business Journal.

The development includes 32-story tower and seven-story parking deck. Plans for the office building feature 375,000 sq. ft. of rentable space, street-level retail and amenities such as 25,000 sq. ft. floor plates, a private outdoor terrace, a 15th-floor sky lobby with an outdoor terrace and a state of the art fitness center.

The building is designed by Duda Paine Architects and is leased by Kane Realty. The project is expected to begin constrction in early 2020.
