Two NCMCA apprentices earned first place awards at international masonry skills competition

Two North Carolina Masonry Contractor Association (NCMCA) member firms’ apprentices successfully competed in the Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) International Skills Competition at the January World of Masonry in Las Vegas, the NCMCA reports in its newsletter.

Jamison “JK” Huntley of Huntley Brothers Company (left) won First Place/Second Year Division and Grant Helms of Helms Masonry (right) won Second Place/First Year Division. JK won the First Year Division at the 2018 contest.

Finishing first in the First Year Division was Mason Lovell of Tennessee and finishing first in the Third Year Division was Tyler Hack of Indiana.
