Raumedic to build new facility in Henderson County

German manufacturing company Raumedic will build its first stateside facility in Henderson County, reports Citizen-Times.

The company selected a 10-acre parcel in Broadpointe Industrial Park for the facility.

The total project investment will exceed $27.1 million. Off which, at least $10.6 million is set for construction of a state-of-the-art clean room operation for medical device manufacturing.

Total investment is expected to create 138 jobs to the region over the next five years.

Raumedic is engaged in manufacturing polymer components such as tubing, molded parts, catheters and modules for the medical and pharmaceutical industries.
