The City of Raleigh is hosting a two-day job fair Sept. 29-30 to recruit a variety of construction-related positions within the city.
The event runs 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days and is being held at the Transportation Field Services building located at 2550 Operations Way. The event is free and open to all candidates and backgrounds. Hiring managers will conduct on-site interviews. Candidates can apply online before the event and staff will be available to assist candidates with the online application.
The available positions are online.
The job fair will feature front-line operations positions in a variety of construction operations with the city. There are more than vacancies that need to be filled immediately.
Some of the featured positions are equipment operator I, equipment operator II, equipment operator III, service specialist, and leaf collection laborers (temp).
These positions range from entry level to experienced operators and supervisors. Equipment operator applicants must have a valid driver’s license or, in most cases, the ability to obtain a commercial driver’s license.
