Nexsen Pruet schedules in-person construction law breakfast in Raleigh

Nexsen Pruet has extended an invitation to its Construction Industry in 2022: State of the Industry law breakfast in Raleigh on June 16.

Topics will include critical issues impacting the industry including price increases, material availability, legislative updates, and employment issues.

After a couple of years of remote programming because of COVID-19, the event will be live and in-person this year at the lawyers’ Raleigh office at 4141 Parkdale Ave. Suite 200, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.

Topics include:

  • Get the latest insights on continued difficulties dealing with price increases and material and equipment unavailability.
  • Review of the NC General Assembly’s recently passed statute that regulates lien waivers and clarifies when a prevailing party can recover attorney fees in state court litigation.
  • Get the latest insight from one of our employment lawyers on vaccine mandates and advice about dealing with the Great Resignation.

Raleigh lawyers participating will include counsel John Mabe and associate Jonathan Massell and members David Senter and Bridget Blinn-Spears.
