LoBro LLC and OC Retail East Co. want to build a project in southeast Raleigh that will feature apartments, office space and a shopping center.
The landowners for the commercial part of the Olde Towne project filed a rezoning request, WTVD reports.
The request includes allowing up to 450 apartments, a 300,000-sq.-ft. shopping center with a grocery store and as many as nine stand-alone restaurants on 102 acres located along South New Hope Road.
The project, which is expected to cost more than $100 million, does not have a developer yet.
The rezoning requests will be heard at the Sept. 10 planning committee meeting.
