The North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC) has coordinated a May 22 outreach event for small businesses relating to Camp Lejeune’s reconstruction: “Restoration and sustainment after the storm – the mission continues.”
The May 22 program includes representatives from Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), Marine Corps Installations East (MCIEAST), Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC), Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune (NMCCL)
“Learn about small business mentor protege program and legislative updates from the North Carolina Military Business Center team and post-Florence rebuilding opportunities via NAVFAC and the latest contract opportunities from the major tenants of Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune: MCIEAST, MARSOC and NMCCL,” the announcement says.
The program at the Onslow County Government Complex, 234 Northwest Corridor Blvd. in Jacksonville, starts at 8:45 a.m. and continues to noon.
The agenda includes:
- The latest facility opportunities post Florence (NAVFAC); and
- ongoing needs and how to capitalize upon them (MCIEAST, MARSOC, NMCCL).
NCMBC says the program will be relevant if you are new or experienced with the federal marketplace. “You’ll gain valuable information about doing business with Camp Lejeune at this special event,” the announcement says.
