James Trodgen, the recently appointed NC Department of Transportation (NCDOT) Secretary, will be the guest speaker at the Carolinas Associated General Contractors’ (CAGC) second quarter quarter Triangle Executive Luncheon in Durham on June 14.

A registered professional engineer with more than 30 years of experience in transportation, Governor Cooper said: “Jim Trodgen knows North Carolina’s transportation successes and challenges better than anyone, and he will bring technical know-how and smart solutions to the job. Our state’s growing populations and business climate needs good roads and smart mass transit, and Jim will lead the way.”

CAGC says Trodgen will describe how he plans to lead the NCDOT in coming years.

Registration is $30 per person for CAGC member companies and $55 for non-members.

The event occurs at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel & Convention Center, 4700 Emperor Blvd.
