The North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC) says that a special event will be held at the end of June to provide attendees valuable information about doing business with the Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, a military training facility in Jacksonville, N.C.

Attendees will receive a brief overview from the various military buying agencies, learn what the military buys, and what buying opportunities are coming down the pipeline, according to NCMBC.

“Regardless of your experience with federal procurement, you’ll leave with a better understanding of how to proceed, whether it’s pursuing an upcoming opportunity, changing a marketing approach, following up with an acquisition office or proceeding to gain additional assistance before moving forward,” NCMBC said in an emailed statement to the North Carolina Construction News.

The event, to be held on June 28 (9:00 a.m. to noon), will also feature a special presentation about opportunities related to the Joint Strike Fighter.

The event will take place at the Onslow County Government Complex, 234 Northwest Corridor Boulevard, in Jacksonville. It will be hosted by Marine Corps Installations East, Marine Forces Special Operations Command, Navy Facilities Engineering Command, and Navy Medicine.

The U.S. Small Business Administration, the NC Procurement Technical Assistance Center, the NC Small Business Center Network, the NC Military Business Center, and the Jacksonville-Onslow Chamber of Commerce have been invited to attend the event.

This is a free event. However, a pre-registration is requested. You can register here.
