Merrifield Patrick Vermillion (MVP) plans to purchase two lots on Kenilworth Ave. where the firm plans to build a two-story office building ranging in size from 12,000 to 16,000 sq. ft.
The lots purchase is expected to close at the end of the year. They are next door to the Solis Dilworth apartment complex Pappas Properties is constructing at the intersection of Kenilworth Ave. and Morehead St..
According to Charlotte Business Journal, MVP partner Mark Newell says the firm is marketing the project as a single-tenant building and would wait for a leasing commitment before starting construction.
Called 1030 Kenilworth Avenue, the project would feature two stories of office space over surface parking, and Newell says a tenant would be able to put its signage on the building’s exterior.
