HHHunt, a real estate development and building company, has begun construction of its $23.2 million Spring Arbor of Cary assisted living and memory care facility.

The project at 1695 Kildaire Farm Rd., is slated to have rooms for 40 assisted living and 40 memory care residents once completed. The campus is scheduled to open in May 2017. The 72,087 sq. ft., single-storey building will include furnished resident rooms, on-site amenities, gardening opportunities and walking paths, Triangle Business Journal reports.

HHHunt is also closer to completion on its expansion of the Spring Arbor of Durham community on Hope Valley Rd. in Durham where it is constructing a new memory care wing with 16 additional memory care beds and added services, plus another expansion project at the Spring Arbor of Albemarle campus.

All together, the company has developed and currently manages 21 Spring Arbor senior living communities in North Carolina, Virginia and Maryland. It expects to complete or start construction on five expanded or new communities in 2016, an investment of more than $73 million. It also has plans for three new senior living facilities to break ground in 2017 with another $106 million commitment.
