Mission Health has broken ground for a new Angel Medical Center in Franklin.
The new hospital, Angel Medical Center, will cost about $68 million and will be built on ground just 1.5 miles from the current facility, reports WLOS.
The 82,000-sq.-ft. hospital include: 25 inpatient beds; 5 observation beds; an emergency department with 17 exam rooms; three operating rooms; one endoscopy room; a full scope of imaging services including MRI, nuclear medicine, and mammography; and latest medical equipment and technology, according to Karen Gorby, the CEO of Angel Medical Center.
The project is expected to be completed by the fall of 2022.
