In an effort to increase the supply of affordable and supportive housing in the community, the City of Greensboro has purchased the former Regency Inn Hotel property located at 2701 North O Henry Blvd.
Demolition of the structure started Oct. 28, and is expected to take two to three weeks. The city is seeking proposals from prospective developers to create “an active and vibrant location” that serves the community.
A Request for Proposals (RFP) for the development of the property will be released by the end of this week. For more information, please contact Director of Housing Development Michelle Kennedy at 336-209-6771.
