Frank Wiesner has been appointed a secretary-treasurer for the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors (NCLBGC) on June 1, 2015.
Before joining the NCLBGC, Wiesner enjoyed a 30 plus year career as a residential and commercial general contractor with the last 20 years being in the Raleigh-Durham area where his companies developed and built over 600 homes and several commercial office projects.
He has also served in leadership roles for numerous industry related non-profit entities which include stints as President of the NC Home Builders Association and chairman of the board for HBI, a Washington, DC based construction workforce training and job placement organization. A native of the Annapolis, MD area, he is a fourth generation builder. He and his wife Laura have two children and reside in the Fuquay-Varina area of Wake County.
