A group of 11 companies are teaming up to build a house for Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte.

Brian Natwick, president of Crescent Communities’ multifamily group and Habitat Charlotte’s board chair, recruited the organizations for the build in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood in west Charlotte.

Participating businesses include:

  • ARA Newmark
  • CBRE Multifamily
  • Charter Properties
  • Childress Klein
  • Lennar Multifamily Communities
  • Northwood Ravin
  • Proffitt Dixon Partners
  • Spectrum Residential
  • Wood Partners
  • Woodfield Investments

Each firm will take a volunteer day and provide funds for a house sponsorship. A typical Habitat home requires 13 days of volunteer labor with tasks including framing, installing roof trusses, shingling, installing drywall, doing trim work and painting.
