The Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas (HCAC) will be hosting the fifth annual Construction Conference and Brilliance Awards Luncheon in Charlotte on Nov. 2. This year’s event will also feature an Expo and a bowling reception, offering another opportunity for product showcase and business networking.

“For the fifth year in a row, the construction conference comes stronger than ever and promises to present revolutionary information to the minority business community in the Carolinas,” HCAC said in a statement. “Top diversity managers, general contractors and speakers will participate in panel discussions and presentations, followed by the presentation of the 2016 Brilliance Awards, and an interactive expo of Hispanic-owned construction companies.”

“We are all eager to know what to expect for next year and how to prepare to be successful at pursuing projects and contract opportunities,” said HCAC executive director Julian Arcila. “That is why the economic forecast is so important at this conference”

This year HCAC is also bringing information about Building Information Modeling, to talk about the future of design. According to industry experts this is a tool that will allow contractors not only to stay at the vanguard but to be seen and compete at all levels.

“We would like to thank HCAC for trusting us and giving us the possibility to be recognized, we work very hard and receiving the Presidential Recognition Outstanding Service to HCAC in 2015 was of great comfort,” said Adriana Silva, owner of Fresh & Bright Corp. “We will continue supporting HCAC as they continue opening doors for minority contractors.”
