Dewberry has hired four new professionals in Raleigh office to enhance the firm’s turnkey telecommunications capabilities, presence, and service quality, a company announcement said.

Jessica Brunton has been hired as a senior associate and program manager. With more than 17 years of experience, she has managed small cell, distributed antenna system (DAS), and macro site build-outs for major cellphone carriers. Brunton also has experience in solar energy project development, engineering, procurement, construction, operations, and maintenance. She received her bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from Syracuse University.

she specializes in wireless site deployment and real estate, including new site, small cells, and DAS project management, site acquisition, zoning, permitting, and regulatory compliance. She received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Edinboro University and is a member of the Carolina Wireless Association.

Troy Linna has been hired as a project manager. With more than 11 years of experience, he specializes in installation, construction management, bidding, and scheduling for macro, small cell, and DAS projects. Linna is certified as an iBwave Level I professional and a member of the Carolina Wireless Association.

Rebecca Risner has been hired as a senior project manager. With more than 22 years of civil and environmental engineering experience, she specializes in zoning, compliance, and environmental assessments for wireless and solar energy sites. Risner has experience performing Phase I environmental site assessments and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and air emissions reporting. She received her bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from Syracuse University and is a licensed professional engineer in North Carolina.

Dewberry says it entered into the telecommunications industry as a surveying, site/civil engineering, structural, environmental, and geotechnical firm in 1994.

“The firm now offers the full turnkey services of site acquisition, installation, construction management, and civil, structural, and environmental engineering; mechanical and electrical engineering support for complex DAS projects; and transportation design services for small cell/fiber routing for small cell and fiber routing within state and local right-of-ways,” the announcement said.
