Crescent Communities sells uptown Charlotte land for $6.3 million to build city’s first JW Marriott hotel

Marlotte Hotel LLC, affiliated with Indiana-based White Lodging, has paid $6.3 million a parcel of uptown Charlotte land for the city’s first JW Marriott.

The 21-story hotel will be constructed on the corner of Stonewall and College streets, near where the Ally Charlotte Center is being built.

Charlotte-based Crescent Communities, which is developing the 26-story Ally Charlotte Center office tower, sold the land to White Lodging.
