Dunbar & Smith has broken ground on a $1.5 million expansion and renovation of the YWCA High Point, reports Triad Business Journal.
The project includes addition of about 4,900 sq. ft., including a new entrance and elevator tower at YWCA’s facility at 112 Gatewood Ave.
The YWCA raised $1.5 million for the project in a campaign chaired by Shelley Delmestri. It also has begun an effort to raise another $1.5 million to renovate its existing building to better accommodate the needs of its members, provide adequate space for its programs and allow for future growth, according to the news report.
