Carol L. Chapman, owner of Mobile Construction Co. in Charlotte, has been recognized as the “member of the year” by the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).
“She is currently serving as NAWIC’s South Atlantic Region membership chair, NAWIC said in its award announcement. “This year she has recruited 11 new members for her chapter and earned her Red Rose Recruiter jacket. She also helped organize a Construction Career Day event for more than 600 students.”
She will receive her award on Aug. 19 at NAWIC’s 61st Annual Meeting and Education Conference in San Antonio, TX.
