Brasfield & Gorrie celebrated a construction milestone on the new AvidXchange corporate headquarters building in Charlotte on May 23, the contractor announced in a news release.
A topping out ceremony marked the placement of the final steel beams for the new 200,000 sq. ft., six-story office building on the AvidXchange Music Factory campus developed by Red Rock Developments. The AvidXchange Music Factory is an entertainment complex in Uptown that features bars, restaurants, music venues and office space.
“Last year we celebrated the groundbreaking of our corporate campus here at the AvidXchange Music Factory, and then here we stand today celebrating another great milestone with our construction well under way with Brasfield & Gorrie,” said Michael Praeger, AvidXchange’s CEO and co-founder. “Every time that I visit the job site, I visualize our employees here enjoying all of the wonderful amenities that the new campus will offer. We are excited about the great progress that is being made on our new corporate campus, and are looking forward to contributing to the skyline and economy of our great Queen City.”
Once completed in 2017, the new headquarters facility will support AvidXchange’s existing workforce and support future growth for the rapidly expanding company.
Serving as general contractor, Brasfield & Gorrie is teaming with architect LS3P Associates and Bloc Design on this project for Red Rock Developments, The Ark Group and Jones Lang LaSalle.
