The Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) is calling for grassroots efforts to defeat a possible Project Labor Agreement (PLA).
ABC recently issued a Plawatch Alert. Doug Carlson, president and CEOof ABC, said that PLA not only waste taxpayer funds, it “limit competition and eliminate 98% of contractors in the Carolinas from working on government taxpayer funded projects.”
“ABC promotes open competition,” Carlson said in statement. “Grassroots efforts are critical to voice our industries concerns. The industry needs to get engaged and defeat this assault on open competition.”
