The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) will build a new Student Recreation Center as part of the Village Development Project on West Lee Street.
Construction on the Student Recreation Center will begin in 2014, and it should be opened to students for the fall 2016 semester.
The new recreation center will include more space for high-demand activities such as cardiovascular fitness, group fitness, free weights, weight machines, and informal recreation. The center will also provide gathering and event space for student organizations and activities.
