The Charlotte Business Journal reports Stewart Engineering of Raleigh and Durham-based HadenStanziale are merging in an agreement that will create a 115-employee engineering and landscape architecture firm. Both companies have offices in Charlotte where the combined company will occupy Stewart’s office at 200 S. College St.
Stewart has 17 employees in Charlotte, and HadenStanziale has six.
The companies say no jobs will be eliminated as a result of the merger. When the combination is complete, the company will have 60 licensed professionals in its N.C. offices, and it will be based in Raleigh. The name of the merged company hasn’t been decided. Stewart and HadenStanziale are working with a branding firm to decide on the name, officials say.
“By merging with Stewart Engineering, a strong industry leader, we have made a well-chosen strategic alliance that will provide us with new partners and an expanded client base,” says George Stanziale Jr., senior principal and co-founder of HadenStanziale. Read More.
