North Carolina State University (NCSU) has posted opportunities for architects, engineers and general contractors for upcoming and ongoing projects.
In one posting, the university says it invites professional design firms (with North Carolina licenses) for “open-ended service agreements.”
The university is “seeking firms to provide limited term professional design services for small renovations and new construction projects under $500K for the following disciplines” (the number of firms to be selected in each category is in parentheses): Architectural (7); Asbestos, Environmental, Hazardous Materials (4); Civil (4); Commissioning (4); Electrical (5); Lab Design (3); Landscape (3); Mechanical (5); Move Coordination (3); Roofing (3); Structural (3); Surveying (4); Testing (4); and Transportation (4).
The closing time for submissions is 5:00 p.m. on Feb. 12.
Meanwhile, the university says it is seeking prequalification submittals from general contractors for the improvements to the College of Veterinary Medicine Main Building at 1060 William Moore Dr. in Raleigh. “The project scope includes the renovation to approximately 8,000 sq. ft. of the existing facility. Hazardous materials will be mitigated as part of this project.”
The qualification packages must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Feb. 16.
