North Carolina’s first ironworker training facility was topped off on Monday, Oct. 26.
The ceremony celebrated the milestone in the construction of the Ironworker Training and Testing Education Center in Graham (Haw River), NC.
“This historic moment marks the accomplishment of a life-long vision of Buckner (Companies) chairman of the board Eddie Williams,” the company said in an announcement. When completed, the new facility will be used for Buckner’s existing apprentice training program as well as the Steel Erectors Association of America (SEAA)‘s ironworker training initiative.
‘The ironworkers training program will enable Buckner and SEAA member companies both locally and regionally to advance the skills of their workers to the next level as well as train their new and incumbent employees on new technologies.”
