Casa Providencia, an orphanage to be built in Panama, has the financial support of Iron Lot LLC, a construction safety equipment company with offices in Burlington.

The company, which sells aluminum and steel trench boxes, has been donating a percentage of its product sales to help build the orphanage which is to be run by Heart’s Cry Children’s Ministry.

Owner Mike Campbell‘s wife, Jenny, whose cousin and her husband adopted a child from Panama. The couple were so moved by the situation in the country, that they quit their jobs and moved to Panama to start the children’s ministry, Construction Equipment Guide reports.

“We are excited to have been even a small part of the overall work and opening of the orphanage,” Campbell says. “We are going to continue to support their mission for the foreseeable future.”

Iron Lot has been lending its financial support to the ministry for the last three years.
