Walker & Dunlop has secured funds to build Mosby University City, a 309-unit apartment development in Charlotte.
The project is being developed by Virginia-based Middleburg with partner The Mattoni Group. The transit-oriented development on North Tryon Rd. is expected to be completed in December 2020.
Mosby University City is located on a 14-acre site and is part of a master plan to bring transit-oriented development northeast of Downtown Charlotte. It will be located across from a newly opened light rail station.
The community, comprising of four, five-story buildings, will feature a fitness center with yoga studio, 7,000 sq. ft. clubhouse and amenity space, coffee and transit lounge, outdoor fire pit and kitchen, resort quality saltwater pool, dog park and pet spa, elevators, cyber café, package locker system, parking garages, and electric car charging stations.
