Moffatt & Nichol has expanded to the North Carolina coast. The firm opened its second North Carolina location in Wilmington this month.
“Moffatt & Nichol has been serving coastal clients through its Raleigh office since the 1980s and the opening of Moffatt & Nichol Wilmington continues the firm’s commitment to our coastal clients and allows Moffatt & Nichol to enhance our service even further,” the company said in a news release. “We will continue working with our coastal clients to develop long-term management solutions to complex beach, shoreline erosion and stormwater issues expand our availability to our transportation, maritime and municipal clients in the region.”
The new office will be staffed by Robert Neal, a coastal engineer with more than 18 years of experience with coastal, water resource and municipal projects.
“North Carolina has emerged as a leader in addressing the issues affecting beachfront communities,” Neal said. “The solutions require a complex balance between the coastal system and our way of life.”
