Lynn Hansen new president of Crowder Constructors

Effective April 1, 2015, Lynn Hansen has been named president of Crowder Constructors Inc., the parent company of Crowder Construction Company, Crowder Industrial Construction LLC and Crowder Energy Services LLC.

She has been with Crowder since 1999, and has previously served as vice-president of finance and administration, chief financial officer and heavy civil division manager. “She is a proven and respected leader within Crowder who brings a wealth of financial, operational and managerial experience to the role of president,” a company news release says.

In addition, Carlos Norris has been named as executive vice-president of Crowder Constructors Inc. and will continue as president of Crowder Construction Company and Crowder Energy Services LLC. He has been with Crowder for over 21 years, providing both operational and strategic leadership in the challenging civil and environmental and heavy civil markets.

“Under his leadership, Crowder has delivered an award winning level of service to our clients, resulting in national and regional industry recognition through the Carolinas Associated General Contractors (CAGC), Associated General Contractors (AGC) and Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC),” the news release said.

“These leadership changes are part of a longer term continuity plan for Crowder, a second generation family and employee-owned and operated construction company,” the news release reported. Otis Crowder will continue as CEO of the parent company, and Bill Crowder will continue overseeing the operating divisions.

Founded in 1947, Crowder primarily operates in the Southeast building heavy construction infrastructure projects including bridges, dams, water and waste water treatment facilities, power plants and other energy facilities.
