JELD-WEN Holding has announced plans to build a new plant in Iredell County.
The company will invest $7.9 million in Statesville to establish a new production facility for VPI Quality Windows.
The manufacturing plant will enable JELD-WEN to better serve its expanding customer base. Under the VPI brand, the company makes custom windows for multi-family and commercial applications for more than 25 years.
The facility is expected to open on July 1, 2021.
JELD-WEN also announced a capacity expansion to its North Wilkesboro plant that will result in additional jobs by summer 2022.
