Grifols Therapeutics will invest $351.6 million to build a new specialized blood plasma facility and logistics center in Johnston County.
The investment will create 300 jobs.
The new facility will be built at the company’s Clayton campus. It will help Grifols meet the growing demand for plasma derived medicines.
Grifols, a subsidiary of Barcelona, Spain-based firm Grifols, S.A., is a supplier of medicines derived from human plasma.
