Durham, N.C.-based Triangle Brick Co. said it will build a new brick plant at its new site in Clay County, Texas.
The company picked Rogers-OBrien Construction Co.(Dallas, Texas) as their partner for the design and construction of the Clay County plant.
The new plant construction is expected to begin by the end of 2014 and brick production will begin in early 2016. The new plant will have the capacity to produce 100 million brick equivalents per year.
The Clay County team is expected to consist of up to 45 employees, including production and sales, and will supply clay face brick to customers in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, and the surrounding areas.
