The North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC) and the Defense Alliance of North Carolina will co-host the United States Army North (5th Army) on Thursday morning as part of the NCMBC’s semi-weekly federal contractor web conferences.

Mag. Gen. Dave Glaser, deputy commanding general of US Army North, headquartered at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, TX will brief the US Army’s response to Covid-19. As the theater Army for US Northern Command, Army North serves as the Joint Forces Land Component Command for all federal ground troops in the continental US for Homeland Defense and Defense Support of Civil Authorities.  The Commanding General of US Army North, Lieutenant General Laura Richardson, formerly served as the Deputy Commanding General and Acting Commanding General of US Army Forces Command at Fort Bragg, NC.
