Dallas-headquartered developer plans $63 million apartment complex in Durham County

A residential developer is preparing to build a $63 million apartment complex in Durham County’s southwestern edge.

The Carolinas division of Trinsic Residential Group, based in Dallas, various states, will soon break ground on Aura Farrington 54, a traditional garden-style apartment complex on Farrington Road near the intersection of N.C. 54 and I-40, aimed for completion in early 2023, The Raleigh News & Observer reports.

The planned Aura Farrington 54 project would include 250 apartment units across three four-story buildings on around seven acres with 400 surface parking spaces.  Project plans  indicate It would also include a clubhouse, pool deck and a dog park,

The developer purchased the land for $8 million earlier in August, county records indicate.  It is one of several projects the developer has initiated in the Research Triangle area.
