The North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC) and the Defense Alliance of North Carolina (DANC) have invited all businesses in the state, particularly federal contractors, to participate in semi-weekly web conferences.
The next conference is on Thursday (April 16) at 11 a.m. with guest Sen. Thom Tillis, who will discuss:
- COVID-19: Steps federal government has taken to assist/support small businesses, including contractors
- COVID-19: Steps federal government has taken to support all Americans – that benefit businesses
- Federal Contracting Environment: Sustaining business opportunity and meeting federal needs
Following Tillis’ remarks, the US Small Business Administration will provide an update to programs in place to assist with COVID-19 economic recovery. There will be an open session at the end for questions and answers from businesses and other WEBCON participants to ask questions of Tillis and participating agencies.
