FLS Energy has announced that it started construction on solar projects in Guilford County, North Carolina.
Work is underway on 21 megawatts (MW) of utility-scale solar farms across four locations in Guilford County, according to the company.
The plants will produce enough energy to power more than 3,200 average U.S. homes.
Under a 15-year power purchase agreements, Duke Energy will purchase the electricity generated by these solar systems.
