Construction is underway on a new upper school campus for Revolution Academy following a groundbreaking ceremony held May 26 in Summerfield. Contractor Landmark Builders Inc. and architect Bradley Ball Architecture are partnering on the project, which will provide a new 64,715-square-foot facility for the charter school’s upper school program.
The two-story building will include more than 30 classrooms, teacher workrooms and a library designed to support the school’s growing student population.
School officials, members of the board of directors, administrators, PTO representatives and families attended the groundbreaking ceremony, which marked the start of construction on the new campus. The project represents a significant expansion for Revolution Academy and will create a dedicated facility for upper school students. The new building is designed to provide modern educational spaces while supporting future enrollment growth.
In a social media post, Landmark Builders said the facility will serve as the new home of the school’s upper school program and will be delivered in partnership with Bradley Ball Architecture.
Despite rainy weather during the groundbreaking event, community members gathered to celebrate the start of construction and the next phase of the school’s development.
With site work now underway, crews will begin construction of the two-story academic building, which will add classroom, library and staff support space to the campus.
The project is expected to enhance educational opportunities for students while providing a long-term investment in the Summerfield community.
