A team of developers recently broke ground on an apartment complex in one of Charlotte’s fastest growing suburbs.

Arka Heights Luxury Apartments is a 210-unit apartments complex coming soon to 4610 Old Charlotte Hwy. in Monroe.

Bohler Engineering managed the civil engineering, with the architecture handled by Progress Design Studio. The project’s general contractor is Progress Carolinas.

Arka Heights will be developed on an 11-acre site and will include six buildings and a 7,500 sq. ft. clubhouse. The complex’s 210 units will include nine studio apartments, 60 one-bedroom units, 135 two-bedroom units, and six three-bedroom units, with options for ADA compatible apartments.

The Arka Heights development is being managed through a partnership between real estate developer Ram Kalagara, president of Ram Realty, and KP Maganti, president of commercial real estate investment firm Savs Group. According to Kalagara, the project’s success has hinged on the collaboration of several local firms and agencies.

Arka Heights is slated for completion by January of 2022.
