City of Greenville, MetroNet to build new fiber optic network

MetroNet and the City of Greenville have joined hands for a fiber optic project.

Under the agreement, MetroNet will invest more than $40 million in the community and bring fiber-to-the-home directly to Greenville residents, reports WITN.

MetroNet plans to begin construction in Greenville in the spring of 2021.
