CitiSculpt and The Knox Group plan to start construction of 64,000-sq. ft. Morehead office and retail building in the first quarter of 2016.
The developer wants to start the construction early next year on the 1213 Morehead building, across from the southbound I-77 exit ramp, The Charlotte Business Journal and Charlotte Observer have reported. The two firms announced the project earlier this year.
The building will feature ground-floor retail space and 55,000 sq. ft. of office space.
“Low vacancy in the Morehead corridor makes the climate right for speculative office development,” says Charles Knox with the Knox Group. “The entrepreneurial nature of our companies allows us to act on these market conditions quickly while the timing is right.”
