Riverside Investment and Development and Woodfield Development, the developers of Queensbridge Collective, along with contractor, Clark Construction Group, reached a key milestone Feb. 6, with the final beam placement at Queensbridge Collective in Charlotte.

The residential portion of the $700 million project is expected to be completed by September 2025.

Designed by Goettsch Partners, and located at 1111 S. Tryon St., the development is being built on a 2.75-acre site and will include a mix of residential and commercial properties.

Located at a popular intersection in Charlotte’s South End Neighborhood, the development includes a 42-story multifamily tower with 409 units, a 35-story, 600,000-square-foot office building, nearly 30,000 square feet of retail, and 1,600 parking spaces.

A 42-story tower will house about 400 market-rate units and include amenities such as a pickleball court, a fitness center and coworking spaces. An adjoining tower, which will be connected by a parking deck, will stand 35 storeys and will include 600,000 sq. ft. of office space and 1,600 parking spaces.

Construction on the second tower is set to begin mid-late 2025, and the entire project should be completed by 2027.
