The Carolinas Associated General Contractors (CAGC) says it is looking for someone to lead the Build Your Career Workforce Initiative as a salaried employee.

The career posting on the association’s website says:

Would you like to contribute to the solution to solve the construction industry’s number one issue of labor shortage? Are you a self-starter and strategic thinker with a real passion for organizing and engaging others? Do you love building relationships? Are you comfortable talking to Business Owners and CEOs as well as Educators and Teachers and getting them excited about addressing the workforce/labor shortage in the construction industry? Do your friends and family consider you the “personable one” in your group? Would you want to work for a leading-edge trade association’s Foundation and be at the epicenter of the construction industry? Do you consider yourself high energy, eager and enthusiastic? If so, we may have a position for you.

Among other qualifications, “the ideal candidate will be someone who has deep skills, knowledge and experience in meetings and events execution, leadership, fundraising and deploying a volunteer workforce,” CAGC says.

The employee will work for the CAGC Foundation. See the career listing here.
