The Carolinas Associated General Contractors (CAGC) has scheduled its North Carolina Legislative Day in Raleigh for April 5.
“This is a unique opportunity for you join CAGC as we show our strength as an industry to members of the NC General Assembly, as well as spend time face-to-face with influential state legislators,” the association says.
A brief legislative primer at the AIA NC Center for Architecture & Design will be followed by lunch “with time to network with CAGC members, our strategic partners, and others within the construction industry. In addition, there will be brief presentations by influential, special guests.
10:30am – 11:00 a.m. – Registration, AIA NC Center for Architecture & Design
11:00am – 12:00 p.m. – Legislative Briefing, AIA NC Center for Architecture & Design
12:00pm – 1:00 p.m. – Lunch and Networking, AIA NC Center for Architecture & Design
1:00pm – TBD – Individual Visits with Legislators, NC State House
5:30pm – 7:00 p.m. – Networking Reception, Oak & Dagger Public House
Registration (deadline March 31) is $45 for both the Legislative Day and Networking Reception for CAGC member and non-member companies, $30 to attend just the day activities (includes lunch) or $15 for just the evening networking reception.
