Balfour Beatty/Holt Brothers Construction to build 288-bed hall for Winston-Salem State University

Balfour Beatty Construction/Holt Brothers Construction, a joint venture partnership, was selected as the construction manager for new 288-bed, 75,000-square foot project at Winston-Salem State University.

The New Residence Hall – Freshmen Living/Learning project will cost $16.7 million.

The site for the project will be at the approximate location of the current Dillard Residence Hall, which will be scheduled for demolition prior to construction of the new facility.

Construction is scheduled to begin in February 2015.
